INA has together with Jutarnji list (Croatian daily paper) organized a scholarship competition for students of the Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Technology in Zagreb, Faculty of Chemical Technology in Split, Technical Faculty from Rijeka and Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture in Zagreb. The students had to submit their works of professional or scientific character and the jury selected the best works for the scholarships.
Jelica Kunić, a student at the Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Technology, in Zagreb received a scholarship of HRK 19.200 for the project “Influence of process parameters on desulfurization of diesel fuels by adsorption“. Her colleagues Mislav Asodi, Lucija Kurte, Matej Rešetar, Nikolina Leona Serdarević, Daria Juretić i Deni Džafo won the scholarship in the amount of HRK 7.200 per year, and Jasmin Hadžić, Borut Mjeržva and Marko Mrvelj won scholarship oin the amount of HRK 12,000. In addition, all winners are awarded with a professional training in INA for a period of 30 days. Awarded works deal with topics from the fields of chemistry, chemical engineering, process engineering, energy and environmental protection.
On this occasion, Žana Goić, INA’s Corporate Communications Sector director said that she is satisfied that INA can support the development of young people and that special attention of this project was directed to encourage and support education and recruitment of future employees among the students.
