INA wears colourful socks

Zagreb, 20 March 2024 – In the lead up to the World Down Syndrome Day tomorrow, INA continues to support the activities of the Down Syndrome Association. The main objective of this collaboration is to involve persons with Down syndrome in all segments of community life.

By wearing colourful socks on their feet and smiles on their faces, INA’s volunteers showed up at the Open Doors Day organised by the Down Syndrome Association, bringing along lots of joy and support. Moral support went hand in hand with financial support, by which INA continued its long-term project of donations to this association. This time, the company donated funds to the “Early Intervention Support for Children with Down Syndrome” project.

This project aims to facilitate the integration of these children into regular nursery schools, primary and secondary schools, and later on in employment processes by providing speech, education, and rehabilitation therapy. Sadly, the healthcare and social welfare systems are still under-capacitated, and many children are still not included in this kind of therapy. With INA’s help, around 40 of the Association’s little beneficiaries from the City of Zagreb and Zagreb County area will now have better chances for integration into the society. Through its support, INA showed that it wears colourful socks. Tomorrow, you can wear them too to support the efforts for the integration of persons with Down syndrome into the society.
