Zagreb, 30 December 2022 – Supervisory board of INA appointed Mr Zsombor Marton as a member of the INA Management Board in a period from 16 January 2023 until 30 June 2023. In that position, he will replace Mr Berislav Gašo, who is leaving the company.
During his career, Mr Zsombor Marton gained valuable experience in many fields of the oil and gas industry, and participated in the implementation of several large investments, including the construction and commissioning of the Strategic Gas Storage Facility in Sőreg. He graduated from the University of Miskolc with an MSc degree in economics, and later in Oil and Gas Engineering. In 2007, he joined MOL Group. As an international experience, he spent two years in the Kurdistan region of Iraq, where he performed the duties of the company’s Financial Director and Deputy Managing Director, from where he returned home to the MOL Hungary organization as Financial Director at the end of 2015. He led MOL’s Hungary Exploration and Production business from October 2017 to April 2021. Then, from April 2021 to September 2022, he was the Vice President of Downstream MOL and to this day, he is the CEO of MOL Petrochemicals Co. Ltd. From 1 October 2022, he is the Senior Vice President of the newly established Group Downstream Chemicals organization.
