INA opens its most advanced service station – INA Kvarner

Zagreb, 20 March 2025 – INA has opened INA Kvarner, the most advanced service station in its network, located on the eastern side of the Učka Tunnel. This strategically important location offers drivers premium INA Class Plus and INA Class Plus Premium fuels, an extensive gastronomic selection, and facilities for a comfortable break. With a spectacular view of Kvarner Bay, this new station sets new standards in fuel retail and travel convenience.

“This location perfectly reflects the direction in which we are developing our network. We continuously monitor customer needs and market trends. Today, we sell fuel; tomorrow, it may be hydrogen or something else. But one thing is certain – INA remains synonymous with mobility. Customers trust us, and we work every day to maintain that trust. The tourist season is approaching, and INA is once again ready to ensure that no one runs out of fuel, fine coffee, or a delicious snack,” said Zsuzsana Ortutay, President of the Management Board of INA.

At the new INA Kvarner service station, drivers have access to high-quality INA Class Plus and Class Plus Premium fuels, as well as Autogas (LPG). The station operates 24/7, while Fresh Corner offers a wide selection of hot meals, barista-quality coffee, and popular travel snacks. Travellers can relax on a spacious terrace with a sea view, and a modern playground is available for the youngest visitors.

“For decades, INA has been the go-to choice for travellers. We serve up to 270,000 customers daily, and this location represents the pinnacle of our development. Today, INA boasts the most modern network of service stations in Croatia, with nearly 400 locations, while Fresh Corner is present at 150 sites, becoming synonymous with a premium gastronomic offer. Coffee, hot dogs, sandwiches, and pizza wraps are among the top-selling items, and the non-fuel segment grew by 30% last year. Still, our core remains top-quality fuels, ensuring mobility and reliability on every journey,” stated Zdravka Demeter Bubalo, Operating Director of Consumer Services and Retail.

The new INA service station will undoubtedly contribute to further tourism development in both Kvarner and Istria, providing travellers with a comfortable place to rest during their journey.

The strong turnout at the grand opening highlights the importance of INA Kvarner for tourism. In addition to INA representatives, the event was attended by the management of Bina-Istra, representatives of ministries, regional and local authorities, as well as well-known public figures such as Antonija Blaće and Marko Tolja. The ceremony was also covered by media from Slovakia and Hungary, countries where Croatia remains a favourite summer destination.

Projects like this not only improve the travel experience for both domestic and international visitors but also support local community development.
