INA, a company engaged in oil and gas exploration, production and supply, considers sustainable development as one of the fundamental business principles. Sustainable development represents our constant commitment to the balanced integration of economic, environmental and social factors in daily business, with the goal to increase the common value as well as to identify, prevent and avoid possible negative impacts.
INA is one of the first Croatian companies who started to publish annual report on environmental protection regularly (first report was issued in 1997) which represent a long tradition of our efforts to incorporate principles of sustainable development in our business. INA released its First Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Report based on the GRI reporting guidelines in 2004. In all our reports we try to apply methodology innovations, provide a comprehensive picture of our achievements and goals in different business segments, insight into the risks we face as well as how we solve them.
We are very aware of our responsibility and we try to achieve better relations in the community we operate in and in communications with our stakeholders.
INA is a member of Global Compact, the largest network for socially responsible business operations in the world. By adhering to the 10 principles of Global Compact in doing business, INA has been supporting and promoting fundamental social values in the area of human rights, labour rights, environment protection and the fight against corruption.
INA helps communities by providing donations and sponsorships and by investing in not-for-profit activities that contribute to the overall quality of life.
